A Comprehensive overview that answered questions for me that were not addressed in other presentations from other speakers. Also appreciated the frankness of the commentary on this labs experience-rather that just reporting the research findings alone.

What a great reminder to those of us working in a vein center to not just focus on the superficial veins to find reflux but how important the deep system is. Not only for understanding the venous hemodynamics of the patient but to avoid a potential bad outcome making the patient worse by fixing a superficial vein with deep system abnormality.

This was great information. I knew about the calf muscle pump but now realize I did not understand how it actually worked. I never knew anything about the other muscle pumps and how they work together.

As a vascular technologist, I never really looked at nerves. Not only can you see them, you should see them if you are participating in any ultrasound guided venous treatments. I feel lucky we have not had any devastating complications and feel this knowledge will help ensure we do not. .

It's only an introduction to phlebology sonography and vein ablation, but a vascular tech student or novice who hasn't been exposed to phlebology will find it a useful introduction.
